The hotel's location is perfect, right by the lake and close to the Mackinaw Island ferry port. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, but there is an issue with dirty sheets. The service was lacking as the staff seemed rude, especially when they had to get off their phone to assist. Dining was underwhelming with just cheap blueberry muffins available. Despite these drawbacks, the hotel offers a hot tub and a microwave in the room, adding some convenience to the stay.
